Our second coffee this year from Huehuetenango comes from first generation coffee producer Rosendo Francinet Domingo Alvarado.

He chose the name Finca Buena Vista (good view) due to the views across the lower parts of the farm. Huehue is in the western side of Guatemala on the border with Mexico, we adore coffees from this region as they tend to offer a higher acidity and pack subtle fruity notes.

Rosendo has tirelessly worked the land, battling early issues with PH levels in the soil leading to his trees failing to grow. He takes advantage of the native shade trees on the farm which add nitrogen and organic matter into the soil.
